Heart Lake Foot Clinic is looking to add multiple Part-time/Full-time Chiropodists to better serve the community due to increased patient volumes and team expansion. The clinic adheres to high practice standards set by the College of Chiropody, providing a comprehensive range of medical foot care treatments and a variety of surgical procedures in its modern settings with Canada's most up-to-date medical devices and equipment.
We are looking for a driven passionate hardworking individual who is looking for a collaborative approach to patient care. You will be working under the supervision of two experienced active Chiropodists.Applicant must be licensed and in good standing with the College of Chiropody!
- POSITION AND SALARY:
- Full-Time - Up to $90,000.00 (Yearly)
- Part-Time - Up to $40,000.00 (Yearly)
Responsibilities:
- Conducts foot health assessment and collaboratively identifies priorities for treatment
- Assessment of foot conditions; including diabetic foot care, biomechanical assessments, custom orthotics casting, and dispensing.
- Provides foot care education to meet the client's learning need
- Communicates with clarity, empathy, honesty and respect at all times when interacting with the team members, clients, families, peers, other healthcare professionals and community partners
Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropody of Ontario
- Assessing, and treating patients with diseases or abnormalities of the foot.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a professional attitude at all times, to respond in a positive way to demanding issues, and project a welcoming, friendly personality
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in patient assessment, analysis, and problem-solving
- Commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Proficiency in the use of computers and various software programs
