Location: 514 Carlingview Drive. Etobicoke Ontario, M9W 5R3
Full-time Shift: Saturday to Wednesday/Thursday
Shift: Nights (12 hr shifts)
Wage: $22.75/ hour plus $1.50 night shift premium for hours worked between 11pm and 7am

Position: Forklift Operator (Reach, Counterbalance, Walkie, Cherry picker)

In a typical day, you will:

  • Pick and Load product for outbound shipments.
  • Ensuring safe and clean work conditions.
  • Work with other Team Members on completing daily tasks.
  • Interface with support departments.
  • Inventory control.
  • Maintains warehouse to BRC standards
  • Follow processes and procedures at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To make sure Safety is always number one on your list!
  • Maintain production needs
  • Maintain and Monitor Minors bins/Schick system
  • Responsible for all bulk ingredient hook ups and sign offs
  • Unload/load trucks of ingredients
  • Responsible for labeling and put away ingredients
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Flexible hours
  • Computer/ Microsoft Excel understanding
  • Cycle counting and inventory monitoring
  • Dependable
  • Self-motivated

Other Duties will include:

About You:

  • Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime.
  • Computer proficiency with SAP and RF Gun and the ability to make arithmetic calculations, complete routine reports and forms, and the ability to understand and follow directions as given are also necessary
  • Good verbal and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Must work closely with others in a team atmosphere.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently (on an occasional basis).
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the assigned eight-hour shift.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, labels and postings in English effectively.
  • Experience with OSHA regulations, BRC Standards and Warehouse GMPs
  • A good grasp of inventory management (cycle counting, materials management, etc.)
  • Conduct work with integrity, abiding and upholding the Code of Conduct and Company Core Values (Integrity, Respect, Commitment, Courage and Growth);
  • Act, react and interact with respect and regard for others;
  • Ability to anticipate what needs to be done & commits to take ownership to ensure it is done.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet changing priorities with urgency in a fast-paced shipping environment;
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills, and teach others by sharing knowledge to grow self and the business;
  • Courage to challenge the status quo, embrace changes and decisions that drive progress
  • Ability to help create a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of sanitation, food handling, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must have prior experience and be certified on Standup Lift, and Sit-down lift.
  • Be able to operate a battery changer and adhering to the PPE processes while working around batteries.
  • Overall being able to work for long periods in a busy and safe environment.
