About Our Client

We are seeking a Superintendent with specialized experience in WWTP projects to join a well-established GC in the KWC region. This individual will be responsible for leading the day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description
  • Overall On-Site Management: Provide technical and administrative direction at the site level to ensure all operations run smoothly.
  • Project Oversight: Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the WWTP project is constructed according to design, budget, and schedule.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and supervise all on-site personnel, including employees and subcontractors, to maximize productivity and maintain project efficiency.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Contribute to the development of the construction plan and oversee the activities of subcontractors.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure the project meets all design and contract requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Safety Commitment: Lead efforts to maintain a safe work environment, ensuring all personnel comply with the company's Health and Safety Program.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address work interferences, schedule issues, and budget difficulties to keep the project on track.
  • Collaboration: Interface with consultants, owners, subtrades, suppliers, and governing authorities, acting as the primary point of contact on-site.

The Successful Applicant
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with specific experience in WWTP projects.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a solid understanding of construction processes, schedules, and budgeting.
  • Safety Knowledge: Proven ability to enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts and work under pressure to keep projects on track.
