Description:
As a Senior Associate Coordinator/Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting project teams within the program by coordinating and organizing activities, resources, and information. You’ll work closely with various team members to ensure project alignment and coordination across all levels, including internal and external stakeholders.The position involves tracking project performance, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining effective communication between all parties involved.
This internship will span between May-August 2025 and will consist of 30-40 hours/week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program coordination and communication.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across project functions, including project controls, engineering, construction, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress through regular updates from Program Managers and Project Managers; proactively identify and resolve any issues.
- Keep the Senior Program Manager informed of project status and escalate potential delays for timely resolution.
- Verify and analyze project data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and address problems.
- Conduct research, analyze information, and prepare reports to support project activities.
- Track resource allocation and identify gaps in project skills or manpower needs.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure staff projections and workforce needs align with team requirements.
- Organize and attend project meetings, take detailed minutes, and distribute necessary information.
- Maintain project documentation, including logs for action items, risks, issues, and decisions.
- Manage project files, process correspondence, and handle documentation as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the project team.

Please click here to determine your eligibility.- Currently enrolled in Year 3-5 in one of the following programs: Engineering, Science, Business Management / Business Administration or Project Management.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently deliver challenging or sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (reporting is a critical part of the role).
- Experience with Visio; familiarity with P6 Primavera is considered an asset.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of organizing and managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong conflict resolution abilities, maintaining positive relationships while addressing issues.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to communicate and develop ideas for process enhancements.
- Team player who works well in cross-functional teams and independently, accepting and providing constructive feedback.
