We are currently seeking a Civil Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in supporting project managers in the planning and execution of civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess excellent organizational skills to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

As a Civil Project Coordinator, you will assist in the overall project administration, from pre-construction to project completion, while maintaining good relationships with contractors, vendors, and clients. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential in facilitating teamwork and ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the project manager in overseeing day-to-day project operations and logistics.
  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, and resources.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Track project progress and provide updates to the project management team.
  • Help prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
  • Participate in project meetings, documenting discussions and action items.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support project manager in troubleshooting project issues and resolving conflicts.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in project coordination within the civil construction industry.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of civil construction processes and terminology is an asset.
