What is the opportunity?

The role is part of European Business Client Services Operations that supports pre and post trade deal processing for RBC Capital Markets Foreign Exchange and Money Market trading businesses and its clients.

The operations role is a first line of defence to trading businesses, ensures accurate books and records are maintained whilst providing a seamless client experience.

What will you do?
  • Monitor, Intraday, the Nostro Cash Positions for RBC EMEA.
  • Update Cash positions to include manual movements across all asset classes.
  • Check that positions are accurate and advised to the Front Office within predefined deadlines.
  • Perform intraday reconciliation of Nostro accounts and identify same day Cash Breaks.
  • Investigate same day cash exceptions, download cases over designated limits and liaise with CMRG London Supervisor/trading desk before making any positional adjustments.
  • Act as liaison/support for Nostro Toronto team for RBC London and Europe based investigations.
  • Act as liaison point and provide support to London Operations in respect of general Nostro queries and cash exceptions.
  • Responsible the CAPS payment system ensuring all funding is released within deadlines.
  • Responsible for any same day urgent RBC London and Europe Nostro payment amendments/cancellations.

  • Some experience of Cash Management and Nostro accounting.
  • Nostro Cash Reconciliation experience.
