Our platform is a cloud-based SaaS that enables manufacturing engineers to rapidly design, build and operationalize “digital twins” in order to optimize their production processes.Using Basetwo, engineers can rapidly simulate critical manufacturing equipment in order to understand behavior, improve KPIs, and mitigate operational failures.
The Role
As a Product Designer, you’ll work closely with our Lead Product Designer and engineering teams to craft user experiences that are simple, intuitive, and visually engaging. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to all stages of the design process, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, brainstorming and concepting to implementation and launch, while learning and growing your skills within a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do- Research, plan, test and design wireframes, interactive prototypes and demo environments of new product features and associated visual assets
- Help assess and iterate on existing UX to improve user adoption and satisfaction
- Work closely with Engineering during the implementation phase to support the translation of product designs to code
- Collaborate with the Lead Product Designer to maintain and improve design systems and workflows
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design tools and best practices, bringing new ideas to the team
Requirements
You are excited about working with the latest design tools and systems and are always eager to learn and try new things. You take the initiative to propose changes and improvements and can communicate your ideas in the right way. You have a strong bias towards elegant and simple solutions that drive direct value to the users.
- 2+ years of experience with end-to-end product (UI/UX) design
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus).
- Experience designing products for a technical audience
- Excellent communication skills. Able to convey ideas to a broad audience of different backgrounds
- Strong sense of ownership and focus on long-term usability and extensibility
- Collaborative attitude, team-player, friendly, with passion and flexibility to learn new tools and skill sets
