Vice President - Provincial Leader
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- In this role, you'll use your network to help grow Consor’s service offering to our clients. Your role will have you engaging directly with key clients and stakeholders, strengthening relationships, and uncovering new opportunities to expand our reach. You will analyze project performance metrics and financial reports, using insights to inform decision-making and guide the province’s strategic direction. As a mentor and leader, you will dedicate time to coaching your team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. In addition, you will focus on long-term planning, ensuring the province is positioned for growth and continued success in a competitive industry. The position reports to the SVP - Canada Operations Director.
What You'll Do:
- - Actively participate as a member of the Canadian Leadership Team.
- Lead the provincial Partner Table.
- Serve as the primary leader / partner responsible for growth, technical excellence, financial performance and culture throughout the province.
- Develop and expand service offerings including, but not limited to water, civil design, ecology, atmospheric, geotechnical, site assessment, archaeology and risk assessment services.
- Develop and implement provincial strategies aligned with Consor’s goals and market trends.
- Represent Consor as a leader in the industry through conferences, events, and publications.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering and consulting talent.
- Foster professional growth through training, career development, and performance feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Manage the provincial P&L to achieve financial targets and ensure sustainable growth.
- Drive operational efficiency through resource planning, technology adoption, and workflow optimization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
What You'll Need:
- - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience in civil and/or environmental engineering consulting.
- Track record of growing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
- Experience driving operational efficiency.
- Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional client relationship management and business development skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
