2025 CAE, Fall Capital Markets Financial Risk Internal Audit (4 Months)

As a Fall 2025 Co-op, you will support the Capital Markets Financial Risk team in the CAE/Internal Audit Group. The team provides an independent and objective assessment of Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk practices, with coverage across RBC entities globally, including Canada, US, Europe/UK and APAC.
Job Description
What will you do?- Support the execution of technical audits related to a broad range of Market risk and Counterparty Credit risk topics
- Analyze business requirements and work with subject matter experts to review and select the appropriate analytical tools to support the execution of audits
- Assist in the development of tableau dashboard and analyzing data
- Assist with the validation of audit issues
- Help develop and maintain working relationship with business stakeholders to become a trusted advisor
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have- Working towards a Finance/Business/Computer science related university degree Experience in writing code using general-purpose programming languages. Python is a strong asset
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing and research skills, strong interpersonal skills and conceptual thinker
- General understanding and awareness of capital markets and/or financial risk concepts

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
