Senior Software Developer
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and project management of manufacturing software systems, ensuring high process stability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use for mass production. This role involves supporting manufacturing systems across Sonova Operations, R&D, and Regional Centers while maintaining technical documentation in compliance with regulations and internal SOPs.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software for manufacturing systems.
Manage software and system development projects.
Ensure timely delivery of manufacturing software with high stability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of use.
Support manufacturing systems and related software across Sonova Operations, R&D, and Regional Centers.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and internal SOPs.
Validate security requirements for OT assets to comply with the OT Security Directive (CDP-14).
Submit OT equipment requests with suppliers and the OT Security Team.
Implement security measures and address vulnerabilities found by Titan with suppliers and the OT Security Team.
Ensure compliance with security requirements when OT assets change.
Provide proof of security compliance and coordinate with suppliers on new requirements.
More about you: MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Further education in Software Engineering
Several years of work experience
5+ years of experience in software development
Experience leading project teams
Experience in software development and engineering
Proficiency in C Sharp
Knowledge of electrical engineering and measurement technology
Understanding of acoustics
Experience with C# / .NET
