Production Assistant - Surface Mount Technology Machine (SMT) Operators
Adecco is currently hiring several full-time skilled Surface Mount Technology Machine (SMT) Operators to join the manufacturing team for our client, a leading innovator in electronics manufacturing, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions in Newmarket, ON.
As an SMT Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating and maintaining surface mount technology equipment to ensure the efficient production of electronic components. You will work closely with the production team to meet quality standards and uphold the integrity of our products.

- Shifts: Monday to Friday | 3:00 pm -11:30 pm

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate SMT machines and equipment according to specifications.
- Load and unload materials onto SMT machines, ensuring accuracy.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance on SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in SMT operation is a plus.
- Proven experience as an SMT Operator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of surface mount technology processes and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Previous SMT machine operation is required
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
