Assistant Vice President, Performance Analytics

- Develop and implement management reporting on flows and financial results for Individual Wealth Management business
- Identify value creation opportunities and complete deep-dive analysis to support business casing for these opportunities, which could include but are not limited to strategic initiatives, technology investments and strategic M&A
- Facilitate recurring performance dialogues with business unit leaders and with senior Life Co executives
- Report on sales, recruiting and acquisition pipelines and identify opportunities to drive higher conversion
- Partner with Finance team to support facilitation of annual planning proces
- Develop and maintain earnings forecast models, including short-and-long-term projections of key value drivers
- Build, lead and develop a high-performance team to provide the opportunity for employees to realize their full potential while maximizing effectiveness and efficiency
- 8-10 years of experience working in the financial services industry, with knowledge of the wealth and/or asset management industry or relevant experience
- Strong analytical and conceptual ability; CFA designation and experience with Power BI an asset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executive management
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships across teams and influence through a variety of styles
- Strong leadership skills including proven track record leading high-performing and diverse teams
- Drive to set and deliver ambitious goals and maintain accountability for continuously driving improved performance, leading change and ensuring high standards
- Able to translate complex topics into understandable solutions; deal with ambiguity and flexibility of approach
- The base salary for this position is between $120,300 - $200,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
