About Our Client
Do you want to lead innovative grand scale projects in Toronto within a dynamic environment? Our client is looking for a Senior Construction Manager who will be spearhead overall project construction execution for large ICI projects and will manage a highly integrated team through coordination of on-site operations that will guarantee a seamless collaboration across departments.
Job Description- Foster a construction health and safety culture in daily operations, making safety our top priority.
- Provide invaluable constructability input during design, craft ingenious project execution plans (PEPs), and resolve technical challenges on-site in the most cost-efficient ways.
- Oversee the on-site construction operations, including every aspect from safety to client interface, procurement, quality, and execution.
- Manage change and scope creep, maintaining control and balance of costs, schedules, and people

- At least 10 years of construction experience with a strong understanding of pressure piping code requirements and TSSA standards.
- Proven track record of seamlessly executing complex projects, building trust and respect among stakeholders.
- Extensive expertise in managing on-site construction of multidisciplinary designs, with advanced understanding of construction sequencing techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), coupled with effective listening and negotiation abilities.
- Determinate and resilient with an adaptability in overcoming challenges and maintaining focus under pressure.
- College or university degree, complemented by a strong background of experiences including knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Preference given to those with a mechanical engineering degree and strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical processes, piping, underground electrical conduits, steam, etc.
