Bilingual Complaint Specialist (French/English)

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and bilingual Complaint Specialist fluent in both French and English to join our client’s compliance and quality team in Burlington, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for handling, documenting, and closing customer complaints in compliance with both U.S. and Canadian regulations, specifically in relation to medical device adverse event reporting.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting positive and professional customer relationships.

  • Pay Rate: $32.00/hour
  • Location: Burlington, ON
  • Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Job type: Temporary to Permanent possibility | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and enter product complaints in an electronic system
  • Communicate with clinicians and staff as needed to obtain information to process complaints
  • Process incoming complaint product shipments (i.e., open and process mail) with possible exposure to blood borne pathogens
  • Review complaints to determine whether assessment by Product Safety Officer is warranted
  • Comply with procedures at all times and with US and Canadian regulations to ensure continued compliance
  • Maintain working knowledge of company’s Medical Device products
  • Assist with preparation and shipment of Service Sets
  • Assist with preparation of complaint shipments to Corporate Designated Complaint Handling Unit

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required, College experience a plus
  • Ability to handle interactions with difficult customers using unwavering tact and grace
  • Prefer 1 to 2 years prior dental and/or medical device experience
  • Complaint handling experience a plus
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Excellent computer skills, e.g., in SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in high paced, time sensitive, team environment
  • Strong record of reliability is essential
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Individual should be a team player with excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Fluent in both French and English (read, write, speak)
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
