Position Summary: The snow groomer operator is responsible for operating groomer equipment and using techniques to maintain the snow/hill conditions to the highest of standards for our guests.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating the groomer to push snow and till the hills for the next day's operation.
- Inspecting the equipment regularly at the start of each shift.
- Fix fallen over fencing or padding on the hill as needed.
- Working with the snowmaking team to make sure snow is being made correctly.
- Working efficiently to ensure that grooming is being completed by 8:00 am each morning.
- Reporting any equipment issues to the onsite mechanic.
- Reporting any ski condition issues to appropriate leadership and Ski Patrol.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in operating equipment and snow grooming.
- Must have valid driver’s license in good standing
- Must be able to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold conditions.
