Cloud Solution Architect to create cloud migration strategies and define delivery architecture for our public sector client - RQ00118 Location: Toronto (Hybrid 2x per week on-site) Duration: 6 month contract (possibility of extension) Hours: 7.25 per day Responsibilities Plan any necessary changes for cloud migration or cloud use Assist with creating cloud migration strategies, defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans, etc.
Experience with infrastructure. Provide support to ensure that the appropriate level of change management is measured and evaluated General Skills: Experience developing the plan that will guide the organization in the various stages of using or migrating to cloud services Experience creating high quality, client facing assets targeting Cloud solutions and present them to key stakeholders.Experience developing & designing roadmaps, implement strategies & transformation plans for clients to migrate to cloud. Experience scrutinizing existing client environments & recommend solutions that enable a to-be cloud vision A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines Experience assisting with sound practices in cloud brokerage and technical application management Conducting financial and ROI analysis of infrastructure, operations, and management costs Working with stakeholders to embed an agile, cloud-native process in all cloud acquisitions to enable the agency to quickly and effectively harness the power of cloud computing Contributing to further building the Cloud Advisory Services practice in terms of people, process and technology improvements Actively participating in business development and internal improvement activities Experienced with cloud architecture, infrastructure ,cloud networking/integration DevOps knowledge and automation skills Security and best practices compliance know how Vendor and stakeholder management and negotiation skills Project management skills Knowledge and experience with various cloud technology/providers Must have skills: 5+ years experience with Cloud infrastructure skillset (bonus: ZScaler or CyberSecurity infrastructure) 5+ years experience supporting crafting of cloud strategies using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS with the ability to analyze and synthesize analysis of alternatives.
Reviewing vendor cloud contracts, support model and service-level agreements 5+ years experience working as a Cloud SME in the implementation of large, medium, and small cloud projects 5+ years experience providing hands-on support of mission areas in the rationalization and cloud readiness assessment of existing applications Apply
