The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Sidney is looking for a resourceful, efficient and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Associate.
By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and our Advisor team, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. As an invaluable internal and external point of contact, you will play a key role in maintaining client accounts, ensuring account administration and documentation remains up-to-date and compliant and working with an Investment Advisor in managing client portfolios and wealth management planning opportunities.
What will you do?- Prepare and execute on client documentation for account opening.
- Follow up on documentation with clients or back office as required.
- Assist clients with online access and ensure their onboarding experience is paramount.
- Investigate & resolve client inquiries as well as complaints related to accounts.
- Maintain accurate client records and make notes on all client communications with the team.
- Prepare client review packages and manage all required client communication.
- Maintain website content, marketing campaigns, client communication campaigns, client events, client appreciation.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have- CSI Canadian Securities Course/CSI Conduct and Practices strongly preferred.
- A desire to be part of a collaborative team that pursues excellence through continuous learning and improvement.
- Proactive communication that is clear and concise.
- Detail orientated and accurate.
- Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills in person and over the phone.
- Ability to integrate the digital world into all facets of the role and interactions with clients.
- Excellent command of the English language, strong written and oral English skills, with accurate grammar.
- University degree is an asset but not required.
- Experience in the financial industry as an asset but not required.
- Handbook Course is an asset.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.
The expected base salary range for this position is $37,500 - $45,000.
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.
