Analyst - Sales & Pricing

Overview:

Provide high quality analysis and insights on sales, pricing, marketing programs, direct mail, or other marketing initiatives. Build, maintain, and innovate an analytic reporting suite to support the marketing team in providing thoughtful and strategic pricing guidance to our 100% franchise community.

Gather data from various sources, analyzes and normalizes the data to ensure quality of data for analysis. Serve as financial analyst with cross-functional teams and franchisees as needed to drive profitable growth for the Brand.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain on a quarterly basis a pricing tool for Franchisees to provide thoughtful and strategic pricing guidance to each individual operator.

Deliver regular pricing reports and implement tools to guide business partners in making informed decisions, while analyzing market trends, opportunities and risks.

Provide expertise in price setting, discount adjustments and promotion design, ensuring thoughtful tradeoffs between price and volume to drive share gain and volume uptick

Generate and support the development of reports utilized by marketing to evaluate campaign or product performance in various categories including pricing, sales, food cost, etc. Interpret metrics and results to provide leadership with key indicators of success.

Prepares ad hoc analysis or reporting requested by the Marketing team

Provide succinct summary of analysis and recommendations to marketing and leadership, as well as franchisees

Develops budgeting guidelines and assumptions and tracks actual performance vs. plan across a variety of key metrics

Evalutes financial impact of all current and potential initiatives

Develop general process improvements to drive efficiencies in the marketing department

Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques, including statistical analysis. Strong working knowledge of financial analysis and technical skills

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors Degree

Additional education information (major, etc.): marketing, advertising, communications, finance, or accounting are preferred

1 to 3 years experience in financial analysis position with large organization.

Experience with financial modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications. Ability to create and manage large databases and Excel based financial models.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results, understand implications and communicate to business users.
