My client in the automotive manufacturing field is looking for a Senior Supply Planner on site in Boucherville.

• Be responsible for the S&OP process;
• Follow-up with sales managers to obtain a sales forecast, as well as with the marketing team to obtain a sales forecast for promotional products or existing promotional products;
• Maintain the sales forecast database for all product sales activities (launches, discounts, trends).

• Maintain a production plan based on a combination of sales forecasts and firm orders;
• Ensure inventory availability;
• Keep ERP system up to date;
• Smooth out production and communicate stock shortages.

• Produce and maintain a production schedule, taking into account various constraints;
• Issue and make available work orders within prescribed deadlines;
• Continuously monitor deviations that may occur during production;
• Communicate schedule changes to the various parties involved;
• Plan and schedule test ton requests; Skills required:
• Bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in a similar position
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of the supply chain and logistics
• Knowledge and mastery of problem-solving techniques
• Knowledge and mastery of inventory management principles
• Knowledge and mastery of MRP/ERP-style integrated management systems (Genius is a strong asset)
