About Our Client

Our client specializes in providing Construction Management and General Contracting services for the Commercial, Industrial, and Retail sectors. They are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish.

Job Description
  • Assist the Project Management team in planning and coordinating project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for Commercial, Industrial and Retails projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and timely achievement of milestones.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documents, including contracts and progress reports.
  • Track project budgets and timelines to identify and address potential risks, ensuring successful and profitable project delivery.
  • Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure that construction meets all required standards and specifications.
  • Assist in securing necessary permits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support the project closeout process, including final inspections, punch lists, and client turnover.

The Successful Applicant
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in an assistant project management or project coordination role within the ICI sector.
  • Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction laws, building codes, and a solid understanding of budget, schedule, and quality control processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
