Job Description- Partner with business leaders and their teams to define their standard work processes with the objective of improving the quality, productivity and timing KPIs.
- Facilitate group sessions and conduct individual interviews to define the current state process.
- Develop influence strategy to persuade stakeholders to adopt standard work philosophy.
- Utilizing Lean methodology to Coach leaders and staff in creating streamlined standard work processes.
- Train and coach leaders and staff on how to generate work breakdown sheets.
- Identify interdependencies and gaps in processes and broker cross-functional alignment on how to address.
- Identify bottlenecks in processes and collaborate closely with the business analyst to utilize the existing system to resolve those bottlenecks.
- Build trust-based business-partner relationships to develop change management tactics to overcome concerns and resistance to change - knowledge and application of ADKAR change methodology.
- Help stakeholders to assess their process through a risk management perspective i.e. large efforts to mitigate a low risk or infrequent possibility.
- Help stakeholders understand their work issues and process by developing clear and concise written and visual representations.
Apply conflict resolution principles to address different opinions and achieve consensus.

The Successful Applicant- Tools used to document process for business units
- Approach to facilitation and problem-solving to meet needs of business unit
- What process should look like from a lean perspective BUT no authority for process itself
- Daily management of CI tasks, huddle formats/standards, improvement tracking, Kaizen and Gemba walk standards
- Management of CI activities across the organization.
- Define the various types of reviews that can be undertaken and the circumstances/schedule under which any of them are initiated.
- University degree or proven professional equivalency
- Accreditation in Continuous Improvement and Lean methodology (Black Belt or above or equivalent)
- Project Management skills and experience
- Advanced skills with MS Office productivity tools
- Knowledge of TIBCO Nimbus process mapping tool an asset
- Accreditation in ProSci ADKAR an asset
- Knowledge of QI methodology (PDCA, DMAIC)
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, facilitation and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience leading large-scale continuous improvement initiatives
- Soft skills required to challenge long-held norms and beliefs in a productive manner
- Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders
- Comfortable with managing conflict
