Senior Project Manager

Adecco is currently hiring a Senior Project Manager to join a high-performing product team within a leading financial services environment. This role is central to driving complex initiatives forward, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams, and supporting successful product launches from planning through execution.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced project manager who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex initiatives.- Salary: $48.66/hour
- Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3–4 days in office; 5 days onsite for the first 1–2 months)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Job Type: Full-time | Temporary
Responsibilities
Cross-Sector Initiative Coordination- Act as the main coordination point for initiatives involving multiple business sectors and partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project managers across partner teams
- Align on timelines, priorities, and shared dependencies across all stakeholders
- Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts, manage competing priorities, and maintain progress
- Identify and track downstream dependencies resulting from cross-sector initiatives
- Coordinate internal initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines are met
- Maintain visibility across all active workstreams, ensuring alignment on priorities and sequencing
- Plan and facilitate key delivery sessions including discovery workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Manage intake and prioritization of internal initiatives, including those driven by external dependencies
- Develop and maintain high-level project plans for product launches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build realistic, dependency-aware launch plans
- Lead recurring governance meetings, ensuring clear ownership of decisions and action items
- Assess readiness across teams and coordinate communication strategies for successful launches
- Monitor active launches for risks, conflicts, and resource constraints, taking proactive action
- Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across all initiatives
- Investigate issues, develop mitigation strategies, and present recommendations to leadership
- Support leadership decision-making with clear analysis and actionable insights
- Escalate risks and decisions appropriately, ensuring timely resolution
- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Project Management, or a related field
- PMP certification (or equivalent) required
- 7–10+ years of project management experience within financial services, fintech, or regulated environments
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives across cross-functional teams
- Strong experience with project documentation including project plans, risk logs, and status reports
- Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Microsoft Project
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership
- Experience supporting product launches, change management, and organizational readiness
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
- Highly self-driven with strong ownership mindset
- Ability to connect teams and drive collaboration across organizational boundaries
- Thrives in dynamic environments with multiple priorities
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills

- Clear and proactive communicator with attention to detail
