Tasks- Operate machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis
- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand
- Use sewing guides and tension devices
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
- Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages
