The impact you will have: You are a software sales Subject Matter Expert! As an Associate Software Asset Management (SAM) Pre-Sales Specialist at Softchoice, you understand the challenges customers have with the acquisition and management of their subscription license and solve those challenges through the delivery of ongoing solutions that reduce their risk, help them manager their costs and drive innovation through our SAM+ Hub adoption.
The Associate SAM Pre-Sales specialist is responsible for enabling sales teams to have an end to end SAM conversation with customers, managing a pipeline of SAM opportunities, providing consultative pre-sales support through the sales cycle and ensuring delivery of the customer SAM roadmap and offering programmatic support.
You will work closely with our sales, product, program and technical teams, as well as customers, to provide a roadmap of our Software Asset Management solutions that meet their needs. What you’ll do Through team selling, present proposed SAM based on customer needs Manage a pipeline of SAM opportunities Provide pre-sales support to sales reps and customers on SAM+ Use Vendor headlines to uncover cross functional opportunities (ie: AWS) Delivery of SAM+ roadmap/ proposed solutions Participate in local customer events to deliver Softchoice content.
Develop and deliver training to Softchoice sales teams on SAM+ services and Hub Engage with Softchoice sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer once opportunities have been uncovered. Pre-sales support for customer engagements Programmatic support for SAM+ programs What you’ll bring to the table: Excellent communication, presentation skills, and teamwork abilities.
College degree preferred Minimum 2 years of B2B sales and or technical experience. Outstanding problem-solving skills. Exceptional objection overturning abilities. A high level of business acumen. Critical thinking and an inclination towards asking questions.
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven track record in opportunity generation and customer engagement. Experience in Software Asset Management is a plus Not sure if you qualify?
