What is the opportunity?
The Manager, Digital Product Management plays a critical role in supporting the delivering and driving adoption of our digital data delivery channel and helping to shape our digital and data landscape. Working in collaboration with digital labs, product, client success, business development, operations teams, and other internal stakeholders in line with our strategic objectives for an ‘intelligent data’ enabled ‘leading integrated investment services platform.
What will you do?- Represent Digital Delivery team regarding outbound data channels, make recommendations to ensure good product/market fit
- Provide Digital Delivery requirements in line with Data and Digital Strategy, contributing heavily to the API and Delta Delivery channels within RBC One digital landscape
- Support engagement with key stakeholders regarding surfacing new data assets, new outbound channel features on RBC One and ensuring good product solution fit
- Represent digital data channels to ensure we remain competitive during market and competitor analysis
- Contribute to client engagement by managing priorities, timelines, dependencies and assisting in solution design of the outbound digital features
- Supporting the shaping, delivering, and driving adoption of our data delivery channels and helping to shape our delivery landscape
- Support the identification and resolution of production issues, tracking issues and following up as necessary
- Collaborate with client technical teams (including providing demos to client teams) to ensure smooth onboarding of IS Trust Client onto our Digital delivery channels
- Maintain improved visibility on client consumption habits and volumes
- Create and execute test and release plans while contribute to client onboarding playbook
- Create and contribute to project plans, ensuring Digital Channel interests are represented
- Work with technology teams to define, build, test, document, deploy and monitor our feature deliveries
- Participate in data asset onboard planning and prioritization
- Collaborate on project brainstorming and prioritization exercises
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have- 4 - 7 years of business and IT experience with Data integration within a digital landscape
- Degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Science or Engineering
- Confidence to engage with and challenge our clients
- Ability to see the big picture and simplify complex topics
- Ability to build and sustain strong external and internal relationships and connect across silos
- Experience with market relating to data technologies, troubleshooting and validation tools (Postman, SwaggerUI)
- Experience driving large stakeholder engagement and gaining alignment across difficult conversations
- Strong communication capabilities
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task effectively
- Self-starter with ability to adapt and contribute to a dynamic work environment
- Good understanding of RBC IS product range e.g., Fund Accounting, Custody, Middle Office, Shareholder Services
