Lead Software Engineer (Client Success Team)
As they establish themselves in role, they will become a trusted expert, both to clients and others in the business, relied up on for their strong technical skills and understanding of key underlying systems.
This role is the first of its kind in our North America office, requiring close collaboration with our London office to ensure a seamless development process and client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Client Success team for the Horizon platform.
- Design solutions to client issues, providing expert-level support to build bespoke features/functionality and resolve complex technical issues related to trading systems.
- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of the Horizon platform.
- Collaborate with other engineering and product teams to address and resolve application issues.
- Implement and manage processes for managing client development requests, and manging incidents.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including FAQs, user guides, and procedures for clients and other users.
- Conduct regular training and mentoring sessions for Client Success team members.
- Gather and analyse support metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client escalations.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding support issues and resolutions.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in client success, application support or a related role, with significant experience in trading systems ideally within banking sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Python (and preferably additional experience with Rust).
- Experience with application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial risk management software or platforms.
- Knowledge of AWS computing platforms and services.
