Marketing Coordinator (Toronto Hybrid)

Job Summary:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will participate in the execution of marketing strategy and digital marketing strategy and assist in driving engagement and sales of HTP’s titles in the U.S. market.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior marketing manager in the execution of their title campaigns and fully manage and execute campaigns for their own assigned titles.
- Using data analysis, track results from advertising and social media initiatives and build action-oriented campaign post-mortems.
- Present campaigns to internal and external stakeholders at internal meetings and authors call.
- Create, manage, and organize newsletters for the HTP Books Publishing team, ensuring clear and engaging communication.
- Confidently appear on camera for live social communication, interact with audiences, and help lead the development of our influencer program.
- Work with key stakeholders across departments to manage a cohesive planning process, structure and flow that supports brand goals for the HTP portfolio of imprints & author brands.
- Contribute to the development of social media tools and resources for staff and authors.
- Support the senior marketing manager in preparation for library trade shows and attend where needed.
- Assist with library campaigns and outreach, including book buzz presentations, influencer mailings, newsletter features, and advertising bookings.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related experience and a strong background in marketing.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (advertising, marketing) and/or relevant experience.
- Project management/coordinator experience required.
- Outlook and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Trello, Canva, Sprout Social and trend analysis software is an asset.
