We are currently seeking an experienced Reinforcing Ironworker Foreman to join our team for major infrastructure, commercial, and high-rise projects in Victoria and surrounding areas, British Columbia. Job Duties
This role will be responsible for the following duties:
- Supervise and lead reinforcing ironworker crews on site
- Read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints
- Coordinate daily tasks with site superintendents and project managers
- Ensure quality control and productivity targets are met
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies
- Organize materials, manpower, and equipment requirements
- Train and mentor crew members when required
- Plan and supervise work for crews
- Oversee QC, safety and productivity of installations
Skills and Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 4 years reinforcing ironworker experience
- Previous foreman or supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of reinforcing steel installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Journeyman certificate, issued in Canada, or a Red Seal certificate as a reinforcing ironworker is considered an asset

- Work will be performed in person at construction project sites in Victoria, BC. Candidates from across Canada may apply if they are willing to relocate or travel to Victoria for the position.
