The CFO Strategy & Enablement team plays a vital role in equipping CFO Group to enable RBC outperformance in everything we do. As part of COO, CFO Group, the CFO Strategy & Enablement team advances the delivery of the CFO Strategic Priorities and talent imperatives, by navigating change, fostering a culture of innovation and driving alignment across our Finance teams.

In this role you will have the opportunity to collaborate on high-impact, strategic assignments for the CFO Strategy & Enablement team.

What will you do?

Advance the CFO Talent & Culture Strategy
  • Assist in the development and take a leadership role in the execution of the roadmap, implementation and change management plan to advance the CFO Talent & Culture strategy
Equipping future leaders
  • Partner with the broader CFO Strategy & Enablement team to design and implement various complex and high impact CFO leadership events that include professional development segments.
Elevating career and capability development
  • In partnership with HR & RBC Learning and CFO Communications and potentially external vendors:
  • Create, implement and manage global and local signature RBC learning interventions and campaigns at various levels, aligned to CFO Strategic Priorities and facilitate execution of tactics related to delivery, measures of success and sustainment.
  • Develop, promote, monitor and maintain targeted high impact CFO Pathways aligned to CFO skills of the future and individualized career roadmaps
Enhancing the overall CFO employee experience at all levels
  • Partner with the CFO Enablement Committee as a subject matter expert and assist in the design and implementation of associated high priority initiatives
  • Design lead for the CFO Connect employee experience, acting as the site administrator for CFO Strategy & Enablement content
  • Proactively create and maintain new resources and opportunities for engagement for existing employees and new hires
Managing the early talent pipeline
  • Lead the execution of the CFO Pathway to Placement program in partnership with Early Talent Recruitment and GRM Talent representatives to identify qualified top intern talent to secure in full-time roles with CFO.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other early talent programs (e.g., Leadership Development Program, Indigenous Development Program, CPA Rotational Program, etc.)
  • Proactively identify new pipelines for early talent for CFO

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 7-10 years of experience in managing complex high-visibility projects or programs with superior attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing and implementing informal and formal learning strategies and projects within a large, complex corporate environment, preferably with global scope.
  • Demonstrates effective project management skills and practices in executing complex initiatives.
  • Demonstrates effective relationship management skills in working collaboratively with project teams comprised of internal and external colleagues, subject matter experts and business leaders.
  • Demonstrates expertise in written communication and creates professional and timely communications
  • Enthusiastic about delivering meaningful engagement experiences and networking opportunities
  • Proven consultancy, process improvement and problem-solving skills with an ability to partner cross functionally and globally
  • Experience with PowerPoint/ Word/ Excel and managing organization intranet site
Nice-to-have
  • Experience with or ability and interest to learn basic HTML
  • Certified Human Resources Professional or Certificate in Adult Education
