We are seeking a dynamic, passionate Garde Manger Cook to join our talented kitchen team at The Drake Hotel. As a Garde Manger Cook, you will play a key role in producing high-quality dishes consistently for our guests to enjoy. You will work closely with the culinary team and be responsible for the preparation of cold food items, such as salads, dressings, and other appetizers.
Responsibilities- Preparation of cold food items including salads, dressings, and other appetizers
- Adhering to the recipes and presentation standards set by the executive chef
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the garde manger area
- Assisting in the preparation of mise en place for the kitchen
- Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
- Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Minimum 3 - 4+ years of experience as a Garde Manger Cook or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and presentation standards
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Team-player attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required
