We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team in the heart of Toronto, Ontario. This role is an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of payroll functions. The role could be performed remotely or on-site for two days a week, providing flexibility to our team members.
It's a short term contract employment opportunity that offers the chance to work within the industry and gain exposure to various accounting functions.
Responsibilities:- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring all employees are paid on time
- Utilize Ceridian payroll system for efficient payroll processing
- Stay updated with Canadian payroll laws to ensure compliance in all tasks
- Handle account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date
- Use Microsoft Excel to keep track of payroll data and generate reports
- Manage accounting functions, ensuring all financial data is accurate
- Maintain and update employee benefit functions as needed
- Use Crystal Reports and other accounting software systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
