Job Description:

We are seeking dynamic and experienced High School Biology Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in their subject area, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire and engage students. Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses is a significant asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum.
Teach Biology at senior levels (Grades 11 and 12).
Prepare students for AP examinations and ensure they achieve their full potential.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the educational experience.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification/license is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching at the high school level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent classroom management abilities.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with AP curriculum and exams is highly desirable.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
