Finance Director - Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis
You will work extensively with peers across Operating Units, gaining broad knowledge of the MLF business and developing your network. Additionally, you will have a valuable opportunity to help transform the companys FP&A capabilities in line with leading practices.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life: Lead company-wide analysis to provide timely insights into MLF financial performance to the SLT Oversee MLFs financial expression of the 5-year planning, annual budgeting, and financial forecasting Support preparation for quarterly BoD updates, as well as BoD approvals of MLFs 5-year plan and annual budget Manage key financials processes for SG&A (period close, cost centre owner reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost management initiatives) and help instill zero-based costs management culture in the MLF organization Lead ad hoc analytics and special projects to enable SLT decision-making Collaborate with peers in the Operating Units to drive consistency of FP&A processes, methods, and business insights Drive continuous improvement of the company-wide FP&A processes Support planning and execution of a multi-year end-to-end FP&A transformation, including process optimization, implementation of a technology enabler, and associated talent reskilling Lead an amazing team of 4 employees with 2 direct reports What Youll Bring: Weare looking for a candidate who is passionate about FP&A, can quickly learn to see the big picture of the MLF business and its ecosystem, and will recognize business value drivers and interdependencies behind financial line items.

Your approach is collaborative, and you see people as the most important asset of any company and treat them accordingly.Requiredskills, knowledge, and attributes: Post-secondary education in a finance or business related program Completion (or near completion) of professional accounting designation program 10+ years of progressive finance experience with focus on FP&A Hands-on experience with one or multiple FP&A tools (e.g., Hyperion suite, Adaptive Insights, etc.) Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, extract meaningful insights, and help drive fact-based business decisions Strong executive presence and communication skills Ability to develop strong relationships and influence Strong leadership capabilities, with ability to develop a high performing team and effectively prioritize and deliver results through an inclusive and collaborative approach Mindset of innovation and continuous improvement Desirable skills, knowledge, and attributes: Experience in the CPG industry or non-CPG manufacturing environment Contextual knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP BPC, BlackLine Experience with full life cycle of Finance systems implementation, including project and change management What We Offer at Maple Leaf Foods: Being part of a high-performance, people-focused company that has an inspiring and unique vision to become the most sustainable protein company on earth, and a deep commitment to sustainable protein across North America.
