Salary Range:

  • $92,153 - $115,189 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits – Full-time role)
  • $50.63 - $63.29 per hour (Part-time role)

Hours of work:

  • Full-time 35 hours/week
  • Part-time 8.75 hours/week

This role is all about leading, inspiring, and equipping paramedics with the skills and confidence they need to provide exceptional emergency care. You’ll be at the forefront of innovative training programs, research, and continuous improvement in the field.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop & Deliver Training – Design and implement engaging, evidence-based education for paramedics and logistics professionals.
  • Drive Quality & Innovation – Ensure training aligns with Base Hospital medical directives, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Assess & Improve Programs – Monitor the effectiveness of training sessions and drive improvements.
  • Mentor & Support Teams – Foster a high-performance learning culture through coaching, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Advance Paramedic Research – Support and coordinate research studies, ensuring real-world application of findings.
  • Strengthen Recruitment & Onboarding – Participate in hiring processes and oversee orientation for new team members.
  • Engage with Partners – Collaborate with colleges, industry experts, and working groups to drive education forward.
  • Champion Equity & Inclusion – Commit to creating an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse perspectives and learning needs.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Education & Certification – A university degree and/or college diploma in Health Sciences or Paramedic program. Certification as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) or Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) is required.
  • Experience – Minimum 5 years as a certified paramedic with at least 2 years of experience in adult education (training and curriculum design), research and analysis.
  • Technical Skills – Strong understanding of training methodologies, quality assurance, and research application in paramedicine.
  • Licensing & Compliance – Certified by the Peel Regional’s Base Hospital or able to cross-certify with Peel Regional’s Base Hospital. Hold a valid Class F license and meet all qualifications under Ontario’s Ambulance Act including a valid CPR Certificate.
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered.
Nice to Have
  • Adult Education Certification – A credential in adult education.
  • Technology Skills – Experience operating back-end Ontario Base Hospital Portal functions.

Work Mode & Location Details: 1600 Bovaird Dr E, Brampton, ON

For the Full-time role, you’ll benefit from a hybrid work arrangement that fosters meaningful in-person connections. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected.

For the Part-time role, A minimum of one day per week on-site is expected.

Note: Your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
