Restaurant Manager

Bluetail Sushi & Bistro (Bluetail Restaurant Ltd.) in Kelowna, BC is looking for a competent Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Main Job Duties:

• Oversee daily shift operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency, customer service excellence and the restaurant’s profits
• Implement company policies and operational procedures
• Analyze budget and monitor sales performance, revenues and expenses
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Supervise, train and support the teams, maintaining strong teamwork
• Recruit, schedule, and evaluate staff
• Track and monitor workflow and staff performance
• Monitor stock levels, place supply orders, and reduce waste
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Address any customer complaints and feedback professionally
• Ensure staff compliance with service standards, policies, and health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including a minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role is required.
• A valid Serving-it-Right certificate is required.
• Proficiency in English is required.
