Craigleith Ski Club The Blue Mountains
Lodges and Building Maintenance Team Member
ln collaboration with the Lodge and Building Supervisor, this role is responsible for the day to- day lodge and facilities operations which would include maintenance, cleaning, snow removal/sanding, upkeep, event setup and tear down, and security of the lodge.
Flexibility is required to accommodate events such as early morning snow removal during the winter and occasional evening special events.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities
- Snow removal around all lodges, stairs, walkways, driveways, decks and roof areas
- Sand and salt roadways and walkways. Routine maintenance and repairs in Club buildings/lodges. Support the collecting of garbage and recycling materials in Club lodges
- Set up and/or tear down of tables and chairs for events
- Shipping and receiving of goods and equipment for lodges
- Steam cleaning carpets, upholstery etc.
- Painting of walls, floor areas, and as needed
- Remove and replace signs and notices
- Responsible for opening and closing routines of lodges and facilities i.e., doors and windows open in the morning and locked at end of day and alarm set
- Replacing light bulbs, air deodorizers and batteries etc.
- Support the Operations department as required
- Keep lodge fire exits clear and accessible
- Maintain fires and heating lamps outdoors and on the patio
- Perform all tasks safely in accordance with the Club's health & safety policies and always abide by Club policies and procedures
- Previous maintenance experience considered an asset
- Ability to work in various/changing weather conditions.
- Perform all tasks safely in accordance with health and safety policies
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding activities e.g., snow shovelling, furniture moving, up and down stairs, standing for long periods of time
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities
- Drivers License required
- Must be available weekends & holiday's
Contract length: Approximately 6 months
