Payroll Supervisor/Manager

Our Edmonton-based client is seeking a Payroll Supervisor/Manager for a contract role to lead their payroll team and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple provinces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a small payroll team (2–3 direct reports), assigning tasks, providing feedback, and maintaining performance standards
  • Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing and ensure accuracy of benefit calculations and remittances
  • Handle T4s, ROEs, and multi-provincial payroll requirements
  • Maintain auto-benefit records and perform regular account reconciliations
  • Deliver payroll reports and insights to the Accounting Manager
  • Train team members on payroll processes, including benefit remittances
