Nurse Practitioner - Virtual Emergency Department - Temporary Part-time 2025-11966

We currently have a Regular Part-time opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner in the Virtual ED department at our Bayview campus.

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) with emergency department experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and also collaboratively with physicians, interprofessional team members, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Evidence of strong assessment skills and the ability to predict changes in patient status
• Understanding of processes to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Exceptional organizational, administrative, and leadership skills
• Close attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Evidence of commitment to self-directed learning

Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and being part of a high-performance team, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality care for patients and families. The development and direction of the program is agile and iterative, and the NP may be asked to assist in receiving referral requests from other physicians/clinics/healthcare providers, assist with quality assurance follow-up for ED patient investigations, see lower acuity ED patients, and/or other responsibilities as needed.
