Controller

Our growing Manufacturing client based in Vaughan is actively looking to hire a Controller. The Controller will have the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial business that is quickly scaling up, so hands on and strategic at the beginning followed by building a team will be the mandate.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Conduct job costing and cost analysis, including labor and materials
• Prepare month-end reports and financial statements
• Handle government reporting requirements
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Assist senior management in making informed business decisions
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement
• Contribute to scaling up the business operations by providing financial insights
• Ensure continuous process improvement in all financial activities
• Manage payroll systems, specifically Ceridian Payroll System.
