Reporting to Lead Maintenance Coordinator, this position is responsible for the daily update and coordination of repairs to heavy equipment to minimize downtime and maintain corporate standards. They will oversee the daily repair logs and communicate directly with the Maintenance Foreman.
Work Site Location: Ft. McMurray, Alberta
Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities- Coordinates the repair logs for on-going maintenance with the Maintenance Foreman.
- Coordinates rental repairs and communication with rental vendors for all rental units.
- Maintains relationships with Foreman, rental equipment suppliers, parts suppliers, and 3rd party service shops to facilitate Morgan equipment repairs.
- Provides detailed and organized daily reports and logs to ensure that information is accurate and provided in a timely manner.
- Conducts daily meetings with Foreman to review repair logs and ensure that all items are accurate.
- Leads safety by example and places safety as our highest value
Qualifications:
Requirements- Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance/parts role to have some mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment.
- Excellent skills in Excel combined with intermediate skills in MS Office.
- Ability to manages heavy workloads with multiple priorities.
- Must be willing to travel, typically working 8 hours per day on a 14/14 rotational schedule depending on requirements.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Highly organized.
- Class 5 License
- Willing to stay in camp
