Job Description
Bilingual Senior Project Manager - ICI - OttawaReporting to the Vice President of Operations, the candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and must demonstrate initiative.Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the execution of projects, from design to completion (including document management, cost control, risk management, procurement of materials and labour, quality and environmental compliance management, monitoring of technical sheets and shop drawings, approval of change orders, commissioning, as well as health and safety;
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements;
- Prepare and manage construction project budget forecasts;
- Plan, prepare and monitor execution schedules;
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure continuous improvement and successful delivery of the team's project program;
- Assist the management team in various related tasks.

The Successful Applicant
Bilingual Senior Project Manager - ICI - OttawaProfessional experience and skills required:
- A minimum of Seven (7) years of relevant experience in the construction field ICI Gatineau / Ottawa region;
- Strong Project Management and people management experience
- Experience managing High value projects ($20 Million+)
- Have a sense of organisation;
- Have a sense of leadership, good team spirit and collaboration;
- Demonstrate professionalism and resourcefulness;
Required training:
- Degree in architecture or civil engineering;
- Have good command of reading plans and specifications;
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Be perfectly bilingual (French and English) (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of construction standards and law;
- PMP and LEED accreditation are assets;
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
