Machine Operator - Toronto

Adecco is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our client’s team in Stoney Creek, ON. This is a permanent position offering $23 per hour. The successful candidate will support production operations, ensuring product quality and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Pay rate: $23/hour.
• Location: Stoney Creek, ON
• Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Operating production machines such as extrusion presses and CNC equipment
• Casting molten lead and soldering lead components
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Inspecting products during production runs for quality control
• Completing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and equipment handling
• Following clear instructions from supervisors and working as a team
• Daily cleaning of equipment and storing of PAPR
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards or equipment malfunctions

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
• Experience or basic knowledge of construction or labor-intensive tasks
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
• Forklift operation skills (licensed preferred)
