Job Description
Adecco is seeking a skilled Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join one of our esteemed clients in the Hamilton Area. As an HRBP, you will act as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with management and union representatives to strengthen business relationships, enhance organizational effectiveness, and achieve operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Trusted Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor and coach for management and union representatives on various HR matters.
- Relationship Building: Build and sustain effective working relationships with stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
- Employee Relations: Facilitate the resolution of employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and terminations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- HR Metrics Analysis: Regularly monitor and analyze HR metrics, partnering with senior leadership to identify trends and provide insights for KPI management.
- Onboarding: Lead onboarding processes for new hires, conducting regular check-ins to support successful integration.
- Labour Relations: Collaborate with the Labour Relations team to address employee relations issues and grievances in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
- Performance Management: Support performance management initiatives by providing guidance and coaching to employees and managers.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to effectively fill open positions.
- Talent Development: Work with Talent Development to identify growth opportunities and succession planning for team members.
- Headcount Management: Maintain adherence to the Headcount Business Plan, managing job vacancies and addressing management inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR policies, the collective agreement, and employment legislation.
- Collective Agreement Administration: Contribute to the administration of collective agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
- HR Strategy Development: Assist in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality.
- Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives: Participate in HR projects focusing on diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, and wellness.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HRBP or in a similar role within an industrial, unionized environment.
