What is the opportunity?
The Senior Director, Functions & T&O Performance Management will manage a team of directors and is responsible to provide leadership for financial planning, process improvement efforts and manage allocation processes and business review processes for Global Functions and Technology & Operations.
What you will do?- Lead process improvement efforts to the enhance, streamline, and manage allocation processes for annual Operating Plan, 5 Year Strategic Outlook, Stress Testing, and other business review processes. Focus on ensuring appropriate metrics are used to provide effective early warning of risks to performance objectives and recommend appropriate responses.
- Lead efforts with finance teams on enhancement and simplification of allocation processes, business reviews focusing on alignment with strategy, transparent reporting and increased use of business drivers and key performance metrics.
- Lead end to end transparency from NIE allocations to segments and platforms.
- Support finance initiatives such as Process Automation, Rolling estimates and Target setting.
- Collaborate with finance teams across the enterprise to ensure timely flow of information to enable effective and actionable decision making.
- Continuously improve processes, find opportunities to standardize, automate and free-up capacity for value-add analysis and insights.
- Analyzing and interpreting financial information for planning and control purposes.
- Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the finance staff, and providing guidance for their professional development.
What you need to succeed?
Must Have- 10+ years of relevant finance experience
- CPA or similar financial designation
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and/or other data visualization tools.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and building relationships at various organization levels.
- Self-motivated – ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional team
- Strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical mindset.
- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity, multiple data sources, and translating data/analysis into key messages and insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills
