The location in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Financial Analyst.
This job is full-time permanent. Wood Products Business Unit Are you a quality-driven individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills? If so, this position might be a great fit for you. Your challenges Consolidate monthly financial reports for approximately twenty wood product mills Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial data for the wood product mills Prepare various analyses and presentations for the sales and logistics department Participate in the financial forecasting and monthly closing process for all corporate business units Prepare financial reports for internal and external audits as well as various surveys Be responsible for the cost management reporting system Ensure compliance with accounting standards Ensure the integrity of data presented to various group managers Identify and implement opportunities to improve data consolidation and reporting processes Your team Reporting to the Manager, Financial Accounting and Special Projects - Wood Products, you will work closely with a team of three professionals.
Your profile Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA designation Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position Experience in the wood products industry is an asset Your skills Excellent knowledge of cost accounting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages Strong ability to learn in a dynamic environment Ability to work under pressure, as part of a team, communicate with all levels of the organization, and adapt quickly to change Detail-oriented and meticulous Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and strong technical skills Knowledge of SAP is an asset Only selected candidates will be contacted.
