WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
As a Business functional support analyst mainly focus in supporting end-users in resolving business functional problems. The responsibilities of include acknowledging and responding to business functional queries and issues raised by business, resolving problems in a timely manner, and providing technical/business recommendations.
It will be good to display excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and a solid knowledge of fund accounting is needed. Also, resource will be involved in working with team members to support day-to-day work that includes organizing meetings, managing communications with clients, performing simple implementation tasks, documentation etc.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?- Providing second line of Business support for the applications in scope
- Acknowledging, diagnosing, reproduce and resolving the issue encountered by the users
- Resolve reported tickets within the SLA
- Incident/request queue management
- Enhance knowledge repository
- Liaising with third party suppliers as required
- Performing analysis of root causes.
- Developing recommendations for procedures to prevent problems.
- Evaluating and resolving complex problems that arise.
- Talking directly to the business and vendors to determine the nature of the technical issue.
- Providing the business with resolution choices.
- Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents while analyzing the issue
- Team collaboration
- System Support: Providing ongoing support for existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper functionality.
- Business System Analysis: Gathering requirements, understanding current processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Designing and implementing changes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Configuration Management: Managing system configurations, installations, and updates.
- Documentation: Creating user manuals and other documentation to guide users.
- Collaboration: Working with various teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Data Management: Managing data within systems and databases.
- Reporting: Generating reports and analyzing data to track performance and identify trends.

Must Have:
- Business Skills: Knowledge of MPower (primary mandatory) and other skills which is nice to have are pControl , MView and ETF Hub
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear and concise documentation for users and technical staff.
Nice-To-Have:
- Process Improvement Skills: Understanding of business process improvement methodologies and best practices.
- Training Skills: Ability to design and deliver effective training programs for users.
- Technical Skills: VBA Macros
