While currently an Expression of Interest, here is a peak at what you could be doing. As a Production Manager at Bardel, you will oversee the workflow of the production from script to screen, ensuring that all production assets and schedules align with milestone dates and approved budgets.

You will collaborate closely with the Line Producer, production teams, and key stakeholders to manage schedules, track progress, and ensure the seamless execution of the animation pipeline.

What You Could Be Doing
  • Ensure all pre-production assets (scripts, designs, storyboards, animatics, models, rigging, etc.) are scheduled, assigned, and completed within allocated timeframes.
  • Work with the Line Producer to ensure scripts are delivered according to published schedules.
  • Maintain and update working production schedules (overall, departmental, client, and service studios) as requested.
  • Conduct script breakdown reviews and participate in viability meetings with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Supervise production coordinators and production assistants, managing their assigned departments.
  • Exercise strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to ensure interdepartmental tasks are clearly assigned, understood, and completed.
  • Review and coordinate weekly TO DO lists with the production team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Inspire and motivate the production crew, fostering a productive and efficient work environment.
  • Utilize Flow (Shotgrid) to ensure tasks are accurately tracked and up to date.
  • Actively participate in scheduled production and team meetings.
  • Provide internal and external weekly production status reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role on an animated production.
  • Experience managing and tracking against a production schedule.
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple departments in animation production.
  • Strong knowledge of Flow or similar production tracking software.
  • Experience working in 3D animated series

Benefits

Pay Range: CAD $1500 - $1700 per week
