Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage subcontractors and workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and resolve them promptly.
  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure the site complies with all health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to update timelines, manage resources, and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and project records.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are available and that all logistical needs are met on site.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in high-rise or commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate site activities efficiently.
  • Familiarity with project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30 certification or similar safety training preferred.
