Proposal Bid Manager

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Proposal Bid Manager to join our client’s team in Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating effective responses to business development opportunities, overseeing the preparation, review, and submission of compliant bids.

With a focus on collaboration, leadership, and organization, the Proposal Bid Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all submissions meet client requirements and are of the highest quality.

  • Pay Rate: $110k-$135k/year.
  • Location: Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON
  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating the development of proposals for business opportunities from kick-off to submission.
  • Establishing clear deliverables for the team and assigning tasks to subject matter experts (SMEs) as necessary.
  • Engaging with corporate support teams to ensure compliance with terms and conditions (T&Cs) and other specified elements.
  • Developing content through your own expertise, as well as coordinating with SMEs for active and creative writing.
  • Facilitating the completion, review, and editing of all proposal documentation.
  • Ensuring the quality of all documents and materials prior to submission, performing necessary due diligence for the proposal.
  • Managing the bid timeline to ensure on-time submission.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all aspects of proposal response development, both technical and commercial.
  • Performing additional duties as needed to ensure the success of the Business Development team and the Facilities Management business line.

Requirements:

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Post-secondary education in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing/Communications, Business/Commerce, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing or professional writing, ideally within the Facilities Management, property management, engineering, architecture, or construction sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to synthesize information into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Experience in both technical and creative writing, with the ability to tailor content to the needs of different audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe platforms.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach, with an ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the Facilities Management or Construction industries is a plus!
