2025 CFO, Fall Analyst, Enterprise Performance Management (4 months)
Job Summary
This is a terrific opportunity to join RBC’s Enterprise Performance Management team where you will provide value-added strategic financial advice to senior leadership in a fast paced, high profile group.
The Enterprise Performance Management team provides the CFO, Group Executive, and the Board of Directors with insightful and timely advice and analysis to support and influence decision making. Through value-added advice, we enable early identification of opportunities and issues, and make actionable strategic recommendations that support long-term bank performance.
You will work closely with leaders across all platforms to enhance Enterprise Performance Management capabilities and drive continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with colleagues across a diverse set of stakeholders including the RBC’s Business Segments, Corporate Treasury, Financial Resource Optimization, Group Risk Management, Corporate Treasury, Functions, Technology & Operations, Functions, and Finance Shared Services.
You will deliver high quality work that is produced efficiently within tight timelines. You will support key RBC enterprise priorities while establishing, monitoring, and maintaining effective plans and controls to ensure that they are completed on time.
Job Description
What will you do?- Be instrumental in advanced analytic capabilities that are used to support the CFO group by aiding in the development and advancement of financial models and data inventories/dashboards.
- Play a central oversight and collaboration role across teams within the department. This includes providing detailed data and analysis that will help other teams within the group enhance and transform their existing reporting processes and dialogue with key stakeholders.
- Build a thorough knowledge of RBC’s businesses and the reporting processes
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Programming experience in R or Python
- Ability to convert financial data and knowledge into clear and concise messaging with actionable advice for business partners
- Excellent problem solving and proven analytical skills, with a high degree of initiative
- Solid data engineering / manipulation experience
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate multi-tasking skill
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
